About Me

Laura Corke: My name is Laura and I am currently studying the BTEC Art course at Alton College. This is the second course of BTEC as I have also studied it at my secondary school -- but the level was much less extreme. I have always had a passion for the arts and everything about it since I was a young child. I have no set direction for my future but I will keep every door open for opportunities and experience alongside the competitive art world. Luckily I am able to take inspiration from everything from a blade of grass to an architectural building to produce work I am proud of. A lot of my inspiration however comes from the simplicity of life and some of the breathtaking sights of sunsets, cityscapes and every day life that we always seem to be oblivious to. I hope that you are able to gain inspiration from my work and don’t be shy to leave comments as critical analysis is always helpful :) xxx
